Shriya and I are proud parents of our son who is turning 1 month old this week.
As iPhone and iPad bloggers, we naturally started looking for a good iOS app for keeping track of various statistics and daily reminders in taking care of him.

Baby Geek is an awesome universal app that fit the bill just right. I just wrote a review on Baby Geek app in our sister iPhone blog.
You can quickly see how many feedings per day is he/she is averaging
per day, week, etc. You can track the number of hours the infant is
sleeping and also see how their sleep habits change over time. Our son
loved to stay awake between 2 am and 6 am. Luckily that is now changing
to normal hours.Baby Geek let’s you track numerous events like bathed, bottle fed,
changed diaper, cleaned ears, trimmed nails, haircut, meal, milestone,
temperature reading, etc.
I invite you to read my review there as the universal app shares all the features just like the iPhone app. The iPad version is naturally great for viewing overviews and graphs in the larger screen.

I started out with Baby Geek app as I figured I’d have to try out several ones before I’d find the perfect one. But, the fact that we stopped looking after we started using this should be testament to how complete this app really is.

I do have a small gripe about the app. It is not going to win any design awards for eye-candy. It is rather a little dull looking but very functional nevertheless.
