Barnes & Noble has just released their free iPad app for kids – NOOK Kids.
NOOK kids for iPad has over 100 interactive picture books for children with a kid-friendly UI. With these books, kids can tap and swipe through picture books, listen to narration on select books.
The app comes loaded with 230 interactive books to choose from with a variety from classics to new favorites as well. It is kind of iBooks for all your kids’ books.
Plus, the app comes with two complimentary children’s picture books – Richard Scarry’s Colors and Elephant’s Child.
Give this app a try. If you don’t like it, you still get 2 free books anyways.
