Also, we were privy to the Infinity Blade game trailer.

Finally, Epic Games has released the much awaited game – Infinity Blade as a universal app for $5.99. The game will play on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch and Apple iPad. (no love for iPhone 3G)

The game is optimized for iPhone 4.

The game play goes like this. You fight the God King by travelling through the Dark Citadel fighting his titans until face the tyrant.

As you might have noticed in the Epic Citadel trailer, the 3D environment is mind blowing. Once you get to fight the God King, you might fail the first time.

Here is the twist. Once you fail, the gameplay forwards to the future where your son returns to the citadel to fight the tyrant again. And it could even span generations even though you get to accumulate stats from the previous generation.

Infinity Blade looks plain stunning on an iPhone 4 and I can’t wait to try it on the iPad as well. The game comes with Game Center support and could add multiplayer mode in a future update.

iOS 4.3.2 requires you to be on iTunes 10.2.1.

If you are not into jailbreaking, you can use iTunes to update to the recent version.

For iPad jailbreakers, there is good news from Stefan Esser (@i0n1c) who has the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.x releases. He just tweeted

Apple has been nice. I just verified that the untether vulnerability is not fixed in iOS 4.3.2 – my Ipad 1 is running untethered jailbroken

But, since he is traveling we may not see the untethered jailbreak tools from Dev Team come in the next couple of days. We will keep our eyes open and update the blog (and twitter @TopiPhone) as soon as they are available.

iPad 2 jailbreak is still not available but there are strong indications that it is to come very soon. We will keep you posted on it.

The 16GB 3G model is now only $429, and the 32GB & 64GB 3G models both cost $529. I wonder why would anyone get the 32GB if the 64GB sells at the same price!

This is an incredible price for those who don’t really need the camera or the speed improvements in iPad 2.

Chronic Dev Team usually doesn’t provide an ETA for any of their jailbreaks. But, this time they come out and said in a blog post that an iPad 2 jailbreak is coming in 2 weeks.

As I’m sure many people have heard, Josh (posixninja) has recently been quoted saying the iPad 2 jailbreak is coming in “weeks”, I know I have been very publicly abrasive and non-commital on giving any kind of timeframe or comment on this matter, but at the behest of Josh (in conjunction with his need for a swift kick to the ass for motivation) we’re ALL going to hold him to that!!! I’m not going to get into extensive detail about this, but what I will say one of the missing puzzle pieces may have reared its head and cast a glance in our direction… take from that what you will.

4.3.x support in greenpois0n

In the past I have also said that 4.3.x support was on hold for greenpois0n to focus on iPad 2 jailbreak exclusively, our course has slightly changed (primary focus has never shifted from iPad 2 since it was released) it has now become possible to easily update and execute a workflow to enable RC6.2 (tentatively speaking… mmm #dirt) to be released “soon”…

Isn’t that fantastic news for us waiting on the iPad 2 jailbreak on iOS 4.3.x?

Steve Jobs introduced the first Apple iPad on Jan 27th 2010 and was made available in April.

We even launched this iPad blog in May as soon as we got our hands on this beloved device that has become such an integral part of our daily browsing and reading habits. Not to mention the board games we play on it.

OnSwipe has created a nice infographic on the iPad to celebrate it’s birthday.

Apple has sold 14.8 million iPads in 2010 and with the next iPad 2 in the horizon, we can only expect to see this number jump!

Now, Flickr has added some HTML5 magic to the webpage. On the iPad, you can now tap on the photo in the Flickr webpage to see it in full screen. You can now just swipe sideways to scoll through the pictures too.

In this lightbox view you can add a photo to your favorites too.

I still haven’t found the perfect Flickr iPad app yet so I use their website a lot on Safari. Do you have a favorite Flickr app? Which one would you say is the best Flickr iPad app?

One of the most common things people do with their jailbroken iPhones is to add iPhone Winterboard Themes. So did the iPad jailbreakers as well.

But, Winterboard did not work on jailbroken iPhone.

A few hours earlier we posted a screenshot from @saurik about an upcoming Winterboard update that supported Winterboard on iPad.

And the Winterboard update is now available on Cydia! Go enjoy!

We decided to separate the iPad content as we realize that most iPhone users don’t have an iPad and don’t want to read about it here.

Now, he has taken on himself to create and present these incredible iPad 3 HD photos. The mockup assumes these design elements – rounded glass back, even thinner at 0.29 inches, LED flash and a 5MP full HD rear camera, Retina display, Stereo speakers and new antennas for the iPad 3 3G (or 4G / LTE) models.

While the iPhone 5 rumors heating up like crazy and the iPhone 5 release date being speculated upon by everyone, iPad 3 is also already being talked about for a release this Fall.

Apple iPad 3 is rumored to sport a Retina Display with a resolution of 1536×2048 as many have found artwork in iOS 5 with that resolution. Plus, the latest rumors also suggest that Apple has contracted both LG and Samsung for producing these high resolution glasses for iPad 3.

What do you think of this design? I want to bet that actual iPad 3 will look very close to this but Apple is known for pulling surprises when it comes to design. With the original iPad and iPad 2 almost sharing the same design despite getting thinner and faster, I tend to think Apple will make it look close the iPhone 4.

We just have to wait and see.
