So in my quest for finding a nice (yet cheap) stand, I came across a self-proclaimed Thinnest Stand for iPhone and iPod Touch – iBend.

When I received it, I really was blown away by the ingenuity of it. It is made of a nice flexible plastic like material cut with 2 grooves at the top.

It comes in 2 in a nice little package glued to a Hallmark like card.

All you need to do is, just bend the sheet a little and put your iPhone in the grooves and set it on the table. Lo and behold, it holds the iPhone fantastically. Weighing less than a gram, this has to be the most portable stand for an iPhone ever made!

A package of 2 for the black & white series costs $4.99 and the new Artist series with colorful stands costs $7.99. Here is a video of iBend in use as well

This is the most affordable, portable, elegant stand I can ever ask for. I love it as it is no bother to carry it around.

It is a tad taller to stick it into my wallet without damaging it. So, I just put it in the inside of  DLO Jam Jacket I use on my 3GS and slip the case on my iPhone. This way, I always have an iPhone stand anytime I need it!

In fact, I can rest my iPhone with the DLO case on iBend and it holds it fine!

JBL has announced their Air Play enabled speaker dock. With this you can easily stream music from any of your devices in your home to the speaker dock wirelessly.

The unique looking speaker dock has 3 JBL transducers with 360 HALO acoustics. The dock also sports a color display to show album art. It comes with dual alarms and a digital FM with RDS and 10 station presets. It has an USB port for firmware updates.

JBL On Air Wireless AirPlay Speaker dock is to be available this Spring but there is no mention of a price yet.

Versihold is a new product we received for a review. It solves one problem and solves it well. It provides a potable, easy to carry solution to holding your iPhone in place for any reason you could think of.

I like to watch movies and tv shows via Netflix iPhone app and this stand helps to hold the iPhone 4 in place. If you had a bluetooth keyboard to use with your iPhone, Versihold can act as a nice holder while you type away.

Versihold has a black satin finish and is pretty neat to look at. It works a compact foldable tripod and has a spring loaded grip. One good thing about Versihold is that it can be helpful in a household with multiple smartphones. Versihold can work well Android phones, Blackberry or iPhones.

I can see this stand very useful especially for air travel or in the car since it holds the iPhone firm with a spring loaded grip.

The fact that it folds into a compact piece makes it very useful. Also, the stand allows you to use your iPhone or other smartphone with the case on.

My only gripe with it was that it was a bit difficult to figure out the ‘right way’ to use the holder. Other than that, Versihold is a good option if you are looking for a portable iPhone stand.

Some of the stands I have seen are designed for naked iPhones and many of us protect it with some kind of case.

You can use the Munkey without the strap as a stand in your desk or night stand. Or you could use it with the attached strap on a car seat or flight seat with the strap harness. However, you can put your iPhone or iPod Touch only in the landscape mode.

Also it comes with a carrying pouch that doubles as a seat pouch where you can hang your Munkey.

Munkey offers support for upcoming iPhone 4 as well. So, your investment is protected even if you are purchasing it for the current version or if you ever switch to another smartphone. It supports Motorola Droid, HTC Hero & Imagio, BlackBerry Storm, & Zune HD.

Munkey is a well designed and a thoughtful product and I like it. I especially love the harness that makes it so much more useful on an airplane or a car’s back seat.
