Adobe has just previewed Adobe Photoshop Touch SDK for Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Photoshop Touch SDK is built to let you use the touch screens on mobiles and tablets like the iPad combined with the power of Photoshop software.

For eg. You can move all your panels from Photoshop to iPad and just concentrate on the image or work on the desktop/laptop. While apps can work with Photoshop over WiFi, they can also be built to work independently. How cool is that?

With the SDK developers can create apps that interact with Adobe Photoshop CS5.

With this SDK, developers can create and enable apps to drive and/or communicate with Photoshop CS5 (version 12.0.4 or later) via a TCP connection. It’s now possible for developers to create an eBook of Photoshop tutorials that allows users to drive an Action within Photoshop CS5 from within the eBook. Or, if you find yourself inspired by an ocean view, use a tablet device to mix the colors you see and send those colors directly back to Photoshop CS5 without ever leaving the beach. Today I will review Colorblast! ,an app that you can turn your photos into black&white but keep some areas colored.

This technique is called selective colorization photography and tries to draw the viewer’s attention to certain spot. Like in the movie Sin City..

When you open the app and after the splash screen, you will find yourself at the main screen:

The first four options are all for loading your photo. You can either pick a photo from the library,take a new one, load a photo from your FB albums or paste one from the clipboard.

By choosing the Tips option, you get some info about the tools included and there is a great tutorial video hosted on Youtube that explains many things..

Also there are links to EPC’s other Products, Support and Facebook Fan page.

To start, I will load a photo from my albums. When it is loaded,you will see it fade to B&W.

The app uses a technology called Smart Coloring which detects the color you try to reveal. In my example I chose to color the sky, so I tapped above the cloud and dragged my finger all over the image. You can undo/redo your actions by pressing the two arrows on the top bar.

As you can see, the result is great and was done in seconds!

The first button on the bottom toolbar,controls six effects you can apply to your photo. When you tap it, a small window pops up with a preview of the effect. You can slide left or right to cycle through the effects.

The second button is for the Color Saturation and the fourth button is for Hue and Exposure of your Photo. Both of them are controlled by sliders.

The Brush button is the one you will work with most of the time.

The first two brushes are the Magic Brushes, that use the Smart Coloring technology. The big one is for large areas with little details and the small for small and detailed areas.

The spray can and the sponge,are the Soft Flow tools. The spray can adds color progressively and the sponge removes color. You can use this tools on between colored and b&w areas to make the transition smooth.

The Precision Painting tools are the roller and the eraser. The roller adds all the colors and the eraser removes them.

The hand tool is used for panning and zooming.

When you are finished, you tap the Save button and you are done!

With this great app/tool,you can create great images in seconds. It saves full resolution,it’s fast and stable!

With the Photo Wall Pro – Collage iPhone app, you can create beautiful collages and share it with your friends and family.

The app has an easy to use interface and you can start building collages from pictures in your iPhone photo library. You start with setting the background for the collage.

Then you can add pictures and you can play with individual pictures. You can rotate by holding the picture, crop it, resize it or rotate it with the angle menu. You can also set the transparency for each photo in the collage. You can add text and borders to the pictures and the collage. While working on a collage, you can undo/redo upto 24 levels.

Or if you don’t like the way you ended up with just shake the device to create a random collage.

Once done we can save the collage to the photo library and upload the collage to Facebook or send it by email. You can hav multiple projects going on in the app too. Once you start a new project, your old project gets automatically saved.

With iPhone 4 you can save collages with resolution upto 2048×1536 and with iPhone 3GS you can save resolution upto 1600×1200 and upto 1280×960 for other models.

Speaking of iPhone 4, the app is iOS 4 compatible and is made for retina display.

Photo Wall Pro- Collage iPhone app costs $1.99 and it also has a free version. Photo Wall is a cool app for creating collages and I give it a thumbs up.

They just announced that they have sold 3 million copies of this amazing little app! Celebrating this milestone, Taptaptap has created an interesting infographic showing the app’s progress.

It is pretty cool to see how long it has held the top positions in the App Store and the brief stint when Apple pulled Camera+ from the App Store for enabling the volume button shutter feature.

It is also interesting to see the Christmas day saw their best sales figures. A nice gift from Santa, I guess. Another apparent popular feature in this app is the Clarity effect. I can attest to its popularity since I tend try that first for any picture I take. It just seems like magic wand that makes even ok pictures look great! And even though it was just introduced recently, Clarity is their most used effect!

Oh to celebrate, TapTapTap has put Camera+ on sale for just $0.99 until Saturday! If you are looking for a camera app for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad 2, make Camera+ your number one choice.

Photogene iPhone App

Photogene is an excellent photo editing iPhone app that has tons of features and a very intuitive UI that lays over the image you are editing and gives you live preview.

Hello iPhone world! This my first review and for Top iPhone Resource! I will review mainly photo apps and some games.

My first review will be the newly released app Image Blender.

Image Blender is a multiexposure camera app like DXP but it has a feature that makes it better..you can move and resize the top image!

When you open the app you get the below screen:

Tap the bottom-left square and you get two options for the bottom image. The first option opens the camera for you to take a photo and the second option opens up your photo library to select a photo.

When you are done with that you tap the bottom-right square for the top image options that are the same as for the bottom image.

If you double tap the screen now,you get the option to move(tap&drag) and resize(pinch) the top image as you want.The bottom slider controls the image transparency so you can see the bottom image.

After that you are ready to begin. To select the blend mode,tap on the Blend button and you will get a list of 18 modes:

The slider in the bottom of the screen controls the alpha blending of the image. If it is on the right side you view only the bottom image and if it is on the left you have full blend of the two images.

Move it until you get the result you want and press save and you’re done! The saved image will have the same resolution of the bottom image.

Compared to DXP and Backgrounds, I recommend this app because it combines the best elements of those two and that’s what the developer had in mind. Also image rotation on Arrange mode is coming in a future update!

A brand new app called Super 8 is going to take you down the memory lane when you used your vintage super 8 video camera. It is Hipstamtic app only for video.

But the iDevice’s camera usually darkens the photo when there’s too much light. Primasnap from Viderea, can provide a quick fix for your photos. It uses True Dynamic Range technology which is something like HDR’s little brother..

When you run the app you, you have the choice to load a photo from your library or take a photo. I will select the underexposed photo from a scene I took with ProHDR. I chose this one, because the enhancements are easier to notice.

Enhanced image. Way better than the original.

You can see that it was improved. It is not perfect, but bear in mind that this is the underexposed image of an HDR scene.. It basically improves only the dark spots of the photo.

On the bottom toolbar the X button takes you back to the main menu, the arrows icon shows you the original image so you can see the improvements, the gears icon provides enables you to choose one of the three enhancement levels (Darker, Normal, Lighter) and the last icon has the save options (Save Image, Email Image, Copy to Clipboard).

Primasnap is in my opinion the first step when you want to fix your photo. You’ll also need to adjust the exposure and many other things to get a decent photo, but you’ll have a good base photo to start.
