New iPhone 4 TV Ad Videos: AirPlay and FaceTime

I love checking out new Apple ads. They have just released 2 new iPhone 4 commercials. As usual the focus is not on device specifications or the number of megapixels in the camera.

The focus light is right on the functionality the iPhone 4 offers – AirPlay and FaceTime. Here are the videos

AT&T Answers With a New iPhone Ad

It is a great time for the Apple iPhone. Verizon came out with their first commercial just counting down to the announcement. Then they just released a second iPhone commercial taking a jab at AT&T saying ‘Yes, we can talk now’.

Now, AT&T has just launched their own ad attacking Verizon. This new a takes a jab at Verizon’s CDMA network that doesn’t allow data and voice simultaneously.

Personally, this ad could have been better in many ways. They don’t actually show the user using data to do a lot during the voice call. In fact, he just initiates a search.

It is getting really interesting and I wonder if they will have more new ads during the Superbowl!

Verizon’s New ‘Yes, I Can Hear You Now’ iPhone Ad

Verizon’s first iPhone commercial was cool but it never showed the iPhone 4 at all. It just showed a countdown to the launch day.

In fact, they even sold-out their iPhone 4 pre-orders.

Now, Verizon has released a new TV commercial for Verizon iPhone 4.

This ad shows the iPhone 4 in its full glory. And the punch line is ‘Yes, I can hear you now!’.

This one is not going to get the same buzz as the Droid does ad Verizon ran last year.

But, Verizon has pushed out their first iPhone ad. It talks nothing about the phone itself or the features. Just that millions of people have been waiting for this moment.

Owner’s Pride, Neighbor’s Envy. T-Mobile is Envious [Video]

Owner’s pride, neighbor’s envy. That was the slogan for a TV brand named Onida while I was growing up.

That’s the phrase that came to my mind when I saw this T-mobile commercial.

Verizon iPhone has landed after years of speculation. T-mobile has launched a video to take a potshot at both AT&T and Verizon.

T-mobile’s 4G offering becomes the central theme of the ad and makes fun of iPhone 4 still running on slower networks (3G and CDMA) with AT&T and Verizon.

T-mobile is wise to not compare anything else with the iPhone 4 and their smartphone offerings. Well, atleast until June/July when iPhone 5 (or is it iPhone 4G) will rear its ~~ugly~~ beautiful head.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Ad Takes a Shot at AT&T [Video]

T-Mobile has taken a page out of Apple’s ‘I am a Mac’ ads and takes aim at the iPhone for being on AT&T’s network.

This ad touts the ability of myTouch 4G to let us do video chats on 4G network whereas iPhone needs us to be on the WiFi network to be able to FaceTime.

The ad agrees that iPhone is sleek and slim whereas the AT&T network is portrayed as aging old bald businessman. The ad basically says that while the iPhone is sexy, the fact that it comes shackled with AT&T network is a bad thing.

It is obvious T-Mpbile stands to benefit from gaining the iPhone and it is even more apparent from this.

Apple iPhone 4 has seen unprecedented success even without a marketing campaign thanks for the hype Apple’s secrecy around a product launch it creates.

Apple has been steadily release iPhone 4 ads that promote the FaceTime feature a lot. They have released 4 more ads on TV and on the web

If you are shopping for an iPhone 4, you should be aware that this Facetime feature touted so much works only on WiFi and not over 3G!
