Have you ever wanted to transfer little bits of information from your computer to your iPhone.
Pastefire iPhone app from Appsfire is a clever contraption that lets you do just that. Here is how it works:
- Install Pastefire iPhone app
- Go to CopyZone and enter the text you want to send to iPhone
- Enter an username and password (an account will be created for you) and hit Send
- Open Pastefire in your iPhone and enter the same username and password
- You will see the text you entered in your desktop
Pastefire offers you a bunch of action items like Open a link in Safari, send it via email or text message, search for it in Wikipedia, post via Twitter client like Tweetie, dial a number with your iPhone or Skype, etc.
Pastefire makes it very useful becuase of it’s ability to anzlyze the text and assign action items to the text depending on what it is.
You can use your browser to go to Copy Zone to send text to your iPhone or you could use the bookmarklet in that page to send selected text from your browser.
Pastefire is a free iPhone app that provides an incredibly useful application. I will be using it in the next few weeks. If you have used it, have you come across any shortcomings?
