Lately I haven’t had much time on a computer. I’ve been using my iPhone for pretty much everything. I’m actually writing this app review with my phone.
Even with fast app switching, it still takes extra time to switch to safari, surf to a page and submit forms. Whenever there is an app that can save me a minute or two I get excited. Especially when it’s free.
URL Shortener is just one of these apps.
If you have a URL on your clipboard and you open this app. It will instantly submit that URL to get shortened through your choice of services. You can choose between TinyURL, tr.im or is.gd by selecting your preference in the settings.
There is a button right under your shortened URL to copy it to the clipboard. Now you can paste it wherever you need, emails, notes, facebook, twitter, you get the idea.
This makes it even easier to write up your app review, send out a tweet about it, and head out to do your errands within a few minutes!
