Some of us like iPhone winterboard themes to customize the look of our iDevice. But, some of us don’t like the overhead that comes with the complete theme and just want to customize the lockscreen.
You have to agree that Apple hasn’t changed their lockscreen much since the first iPhone.
LS Sleek HD is a lockscreen theme available in Cydia for free. LS Sleek offers an awesomely created custom lockscreen view with cool typography showing the local weather, time and date.
To set your current local weather,
- Go to weather.yahoo.com
- Click on Extended forecast
- In the address bar, copy the 7-character code from the url (for eg. http://www.weather.com/weather/extended/USMI0379?par=yahoo… )
- Connect your iPhone with an iPhone browser
- Find and open LockBackground.html and search for “Var locale” and paste the 7-character code
- Look for “var isCelsius” to change it to Celsius
