A lot of us were waiting for iPad 2 jailbreak to be released. And the great day is here.
The best news of it all is that this is the easiest iPad jailbreak of all time. This is the famous 2 minute iPad jailbreak from @Comex available at jailbreakme.com.
In fact, you don’t even need a how to guide to jailbreak your iPad or iPad 2.
Only requirement for this jailbreak is that your iPad 2 is on iOS version 4.3.3. You can verify your iOS firmware version by going to Settings -> General -> About -> Version. This should say 4.3.3 (8J2).
Tip: It is always a good idea to sync your iPad with iTunes before you jailbreak so you have a good backup.
Once you have verified that go to jailbreakme.com on your iPad 2 Safari browser. You will see the following screen.
Just tap on Free and then on Install. Then, you will see Cydia installing just like you are installing an app from the App Store.
For those new to the jailbreak scene, Cydia is the jailbreak app store. You can go there to install jailbreak apps, cydia tweaks, iPad winterboard themes, etc.
