Apple Announces iCloud Pricing

Apple has just released iCloud beta to developers today. Apple has also revealed pricing for iCloud service.

10GB for $20/year

20GB for $40/year

50GB for $100/year

As was announced in WWDC, everyone gets a free 5GB iCloud account and these are for those who need the extra iClopud storage space. The upgrade prices are strictly optional.

One silver lining in this announcement is that the iCloud Photo Stream doesn’t count towards the 5GB storage capacity and that is fantastic news.

You will have an option like the screenshot below in iOS 5 to purchase iCloud storage.
