Instagram owes some of it’s wild popularity to it’s simple interface. Anyone can do it and the ease has made in unbelievably popular.
You take a picture, optionally give it a title and a location, optionally apply some effects and upload. That’s it.
Like Twitter, you can follow other people and others can follow you. That’s Instagram.
It has also been criticized for not offering more features like the ability to view those pictures on the web.
Today, Instagram has announced 2 new features to their app – both very useful.
Hashtags
Now, you can add hashtag’s to your pictures and it will let you browse pictures with the same tags. With this features, Instagram has just made it very easy to find pictures from events, places, etc. Just like you could find tweets with hashtags on Twitter.
Comment Management
So far you could leave and read comments. But, you couldn’t delete unfriendly or spammy comments. You can now with comment management. Just tap the double dot below your picture and manage away.
