If you are one of those lucky iOS developers who already got your hands on the iOS 5 beta download, there is great news for you.
Dev Team has released the first iOS 5 jailbreak with their Redsn0w version of the jailbreak tool.
At the moment there are a few restrictions with the jailbreak tool
- It is tethered jailbreak which means you have to connect your device to your computer with USB while rebooting to go into jailbroken mode
- This method does not support iPad 2
- If you are using a carrier unlock, redsn0w is not supported
Here are the list of supported device
- iPod touch 3G
- iPod touch 4G
- iPad 1
- iPhone3GS
- iPhone4 (GSM)
- iPhone4 (CDMA)
