Jailbreak Your iPad Right From Mobile Safari [jailbreak]

Comex who is part of the iPhone Dev Team has brought it back for all iDevices including the new iPad jailbreak.

You don’t need a PC or Mac or any computer to jailbreak. Your iDevice has to be running iOS 3.1.2 or newer. Jailbreaking your iPad couldn’t get easier than this. You don’t even need a Windows or PC to do this. Even the new iPhone 4 jailbreak has been released with the same site.

Just visit http://jailbreakme.com on your iPad’s Mobile Safari and slide the button on screen to jailbreak your device.

Once the jailbreak finished, just reboot your device to see Cydia installed in your iPad.

This has to be one of the easiest jailbreak ever.

Notes:

• Some say that the installer brings up a popup saying that Cydia is installed. But, it just sat there with the progress bar in full. I gave it a full 10 minutes and rebooted my iPhone 4 and to my surprise Cydia was installed!

I believe we are gonna have a whole lot of new jailbreakers for 2 reasons. 1. EFF just announced jailbreaking iPhone & iPad is legal. 2. Jailbreaking an iPad can’t get easier than this. And this is fantastic for the jailbreak community!

Those of you having problems where the device sits at the purple screen forever may benefit from clearing your cookies and restarting safari:

1) Put your device into Airplane mode.
2) Go to -> Setting -> safari -> Cookies -> Accept.
3) Double Tap home button.
4) Press and hold an icon to wiggle the task switcher icons and then quit Safari using the X.
5) Clear all Cache and cookies.
6) Open safari and go to jailbreakme.com and try again.
