Apple has just sent out invites to the media inviting them to a special event in San Francisco, CA on March 2, 2011.
We have all been watching with interest on all the Apple iPad 2 rumors and when it might be released.
The official Apple March 2 invite squashes all the rumors about iPad 2 being delayed. Here is the invitation Apple has sent out to the media.
As you can see the date 2 reveals part of a device screen and we can only assume that it is the iPad 2.
iPad 2 is expected to have a front facing and rear facing camera for FaceTime. It is also expected to have a thinner dimension and have additional ports. While Retina Display seems out of the question, we can expect to see a higher resolution.
