iPhone 3GS users rejoice!

Dev Team has just released PwnageTool 3.1.3 that can jailbreak a iPhone 3GS with iPhone OS 3.1.

I hate to throw a damper in your excitement but there are a couple of gotchas

  • PwnageTool 3.1.3 for iPhone 3GS only works if you have already jailbroken your 3GS in OS 3.0 or 3.0.1.
  • If you bought a iPhone 3GS with 3.1 installed, you have to wait some more. Same story for iPod Touch 3G.
  • PwnageTool is Mac only and Windows users have to wait until Redsn0w for 3.1 is released.
