This is unprecedented. Usually Apple instructs the shipment carriers to hold delivery and deliver it the same day it is available in stores on launch day.
But, today Twitter burst out with news that a lot of people were seeing the tracking status showing ‘Out for delivery’ and in fact had the iPhone 4 delivered early!

We are really happy for those of who received your Christmas present early! Although we are receiving reports that Apple says the iPhone 4’s can’t be activated yet. So one more day to go.
We haven’t been lucky enough and our iPhone 4 pre-order was cancelled. So, we will be camping out in front of an AT&T store on launch day!
