iPhone OS 4.0 Winterboard Theme

One of the big reasons to jailbreak your iPhone is the Winterboard themes that can make your iPhone your own!

If you were drooling over the new iPhone OS 4.0 features and the new look with the dock and icons, you can have it right now as long as your iPhone is jailbroken.

iPhone OS 4.0 winterboard theme makes your 3.x firmware iPhone look like iPhone OS 4.0. It sports the new theme background, wallpapers for lock screen and home screen, a new dock, etc.

How to Install iPhone OS 4.0 Theme?

  1. Your device must be jailbroken.
  2. You must have Winterboard installed via Cydia.
  3. You must have ModMyi Repository added to Cydia.
  4. Search for iPhone OS 4.0 in Cydia and install it.
  5. Launch Winterboard and activate iPhone OS 4.0.

      hey i’ve downloaded this onto my iphone, but after, the background behind the icons remain the same. how do i change the background behind the icons to the one similar to in the iphone 4, without changing the one in the ‘slide to unlock’ screen

      Jakob, try moving the ‘User Wallpaper’ above the theme in the Winterboard screen. (hold on the right side lines and move up)

      Hey jacob, what karthik means is that you should try opening Winterboard and then tap “Select Theme” and untick “User Wallpaper”, this should sort out your problem :) For some reason I can’t actually find this theme on Cydia so can’t install it! :s

      I used to have this app but iSpazzio’s repo keeps sending me a size mismatch error when I go to download anything from them or ModMyI
