Works on iOS 4.2+
Starting from iOS 4.2+, Apple has made it really easy to search for words on webpages in Mobile Safari. Here’s how
- While on the webpage you want to search for a word on, type the search term in the Mobile Safari search box
- Don’t hit Search yet
- Look at the search suggestions and at the bottom you will find a ‘On This Page (2 matches)‘ section.
- Scroll down and tap Find “your search term” option.
- Now you can scroll through all the matches found on the page you were on.

This tip also works on the Apple iPad on iOS 4.2+.
