Ultrasn0w Unlock for iPhone 4 is Here [jailbreak]

It was such a sweet news for jailbreakers when iPhone 4 jailbreak was released last weekend. But, the Dev Team was still beta testing the iPhone 4 unlock.

Ultrasn0w version 1.0-1 is now available in Cydia and it can unlock

• iPhone 4 baseband 01.59.00
• iPhone 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04.

Apple launched iPhone 4 as an unlocked version in many countries but they were  usually priced really high. Instead, you could buy it for $199 or $299 under contract and with the carrier unlock use it on any carrier of your choice.

I like to have this on my iPhone for my occasional international travel.

If this is the first time you are unlocking an iPhone it is very easy. All you need to do is jailbreak your iPhone 4 and then install an app called Ultrasn0w from Cydia. It’s that simple!

To unlock iPhone 4, you must first jailbreak your iPhone 4 with jailbreakme. Then install ultrasn0w from Cydia and reboot. if you don’t see it, add ‘repo666.ultrasn0w.com to Cydia –> Manage –> Sources.
