In line with previous rumors about the iPhone 5 release date, Bllomberg is also reporting that the new iPhone 5 is due in September.
iPhone 5 A5 Processor
The next gen 2011 iPhone is said to have the faster A5 processor found in iPad 2. A5 is Apple’s fastest processor that they recently added when they launched the iPad 2. iPhone 4 currently has A4 processor and it pretty fast but adding an A5 processor to the iPhone 5 (or is it iPhone 4S) will make things very snappy in iOS 5.
It is also said to have a stronger camera upgrading the current 5MP camera found in iPhone 4. The new camera is said to have a higher resolution of 8MP and probably a dual LED flash. We have seen a leaked iPhone 5 case design that showed the LED flash placement to be on the otherside. The camera and flash are next to each other in iPhone 4. Some people are suggesting that the leaked photos in fact showed the second LED flash.
Even thogh the release date for iPhone 5 is not confirmed by Apple, iPhone 5 jailbreak is to be demonstrated live at MyGreatFest!
iPad 3 Release Date
Bloomberg reports that it’s sources say that Apple is also testing iPad 3 with retina display. Even though it is called retina display, it won’t have the same pixel-per-inch found in iPhone 4 due to the large screen in the iPad. However, it will be significantly higher than the current iPad 2 resolution. Apple also got some heat from the customers for the crappy camera in iPad 2. They might end up upgrading that to atleast the current superb camera found in iPhone 4.
There is no word on the iPad 3 release date even though some rumors point that it could come well before the holiday season breaking Apple’s traditional yearly cycle.
