First off, there is this big speculation going on about the iPhone 5 release date. Most people are predicting that the new iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 will be released in September when iOS 5 is scheduled to be released.
With the iOS 5 jailbreak already available, albeit in a tethered mode, jailbreak community is taking immense interest in jailbreaking iPhone 5.
In fact, one of the lead jailbreak developers, Joshua Hill aka p0sixninja has said that he will demonstrate the iPhone 5 jailbreak live at MyGreatFest in London.

MyGreatFest is the first iOS jailbreak even happening in London on September 17th. It is set to feature some prominent jailbreak figures like the creator of Cydia, Saurik, developer of Greenpois0n, Joshua Hill (@p0sixninja), @pod2g, and more.
This is assuming iPhone 5 is released well before the event and iOS 5 still remains jailbreak-friendly when it hits Gold Master version.
On other news, the long awaited iPad 2 jailbreak is also set to be released pretty soon. We’ll bring you the juicy details as soon as it is available. It looks like the iPad 2 jailbreak release date didn’t materialize.
