Mint.com has been our favorite personal finance tracking site for well over 2 years. You sign up for a free account, set up your bank accounts, mortgage accounts, credit card accounts, loans, savings accounts and get a dashboard of view of all your finances in one place.

Mint.com iPhone App
Mint iPhone app has been available for a while. So far, it just let you see your updated finances from the site in an iPhone friendly view. I have been in love with and would keep checking it multiple times a day to see my finance updates.
Mint iPhone app was protected by your username/password but if you chose to remember your account, anyone who gets a hold of your iPhone could possibly view your whole finance situation. I had used a workaround with the jailbreak app – Lockdown.
The new version of Mint addresses this by adding an optional 4-digit security code. I highly recommend setting this in the new version. This protects your finance data from prying eyes.
Another gripe of mine was that the previous version of Mint iPhone app was read-only. That has also been addressed by this update. Now, I can assign Categories & tags to my transactions and also add Notes.
Last but not least, Mint.com iPhone app now has Push notification support. It means you will get real time alerts on your iPhone for transactions your have customized to get alerts. This gives you complete realtime control over your finance situation making the whole Mint.com service even more valuable!
I would even go far enough to say Mint.com is the best personal finance iPhone app!
