PasteFire iPhone app has become a very useful iPhone for me anytime I need transfer some information from my desktop to my iPhone.
The latest PasteFire app version has added Push Notifications. Even if the PasteFire app is not up, now you will get a push notification when your clipboard is ready.
You can tap the View button to open PasteFire along with auto action (if enabled). This makes it faster to access the clipboard content sent from your desktop.

The recent version also adds shortcut commands for PasteFire. For ex: to launch a Google Map, write in the Copy Zone “map: address” to open Google Maps in your iPhone.
You could also write a SMS, write an email or launch Tweetie from your desktop.

Open Source PasteFire Client
If you don’t like using the CopyZone, you can now grab the new open source PC/Mac client called PasteFireClient.
Just start the application, enter your CopyZone credentials and choose a hotkey setting. Just copy the text you want to send to clipboard and hit the hotkey or double click the taskbar client icon or right click on the icon and hit ‘Send2PasteFire’.
PasteFire iPhone app is making great strides in making the simple task of transferring blocks of text to iPhone really simple by not just copy/paste but far better by adding actions via keywords.
