I have a 3G but Since I am at home most of the time, Preparing for an Exam, I use internet through WiFi. I am with Airtel(Unlocked from AT&T), and didnt find any point, using slow EDGE on the phone for 500/month when I am at home, most of the time where I have wifi. Anyway one thing you could do is download, SBsettings, and then you can just flick your finger on top of the screen and switch on/off Edge which should reset the EDGE. Maybe this can save you time and help you out as a temporary setting. I just can’t wait for apple to include all the functionality of jailbroken phones into official updates. I mean it’s just common sense to do that.
