Crackle is Sony Pictures Entertainment’s video entertainment network. And Sony has just released their free Crackle iOS app for iPhone and iPad.
Crackle iOS app is definitely worth a download as it comes packed with some really nice free movies and TV shows. So, how does Sony makes all this content free?
The app is ad-supported but most ads seem to be around 15 seconds and are hardly a bother for me.

Besides getting the free content, you can also use the app to check out Sony’s new movies and new TV shows.
You can create an user account (unless you already have one) and create queues for movies and tv shows you want to watch later as you browse through the app.
I wonder if this content is available through Sony Playstation 3 through the PSN network.
