Special Force Gun battle for the iPhone is one-of-a-kind online puzzle game that incorporates deadly weapons into its overall concept. This game tests your reflexes and ability to work under pressure, as it’s either “kill or be killed” in this intense puzzle game.
Special Force Gun Battle for the iPhone is a simple yet unexpectedly addictive game that offers 2 modes: single and online multiplayer. Basically players put together pieces of a gun before the time runs out. When you begin the pieces will be spread out on the screen and in different directions.
Controlling is a synch. All you have to do is tap the pieces to rotate them. Then drag them to their appropriate place on the outlined gun. While it sounds easy, it’s not. Time will be quickly counting down and if you’re not able to get the pieces together then you get shot to death.
The online mode is the best feature. Players will be pitted against each other according to rank so you won’t find yourself playing against better players. I always welcome the multiplayer option for games as it really increases the replay value and I’m glad the developers added this feature.
Gun Battle features 21 different ranks for players. You’ll have to assemble the guns at really fast speeds to gain experience and move up in rank. This really tests your reflexes and ability to stay calm under pressure because oddly enough, it’s the techno music and the count down that really gets the blood pumping. My only quirk is that I wish the game provided more of a visual ranking system so I can see how much more I had to do.
Everything is realistic in this game from the guns itself and the sound effects (shooting, loading, clicking, etc). I don’t know if it’s all licensed but I recognized 99% of the guns as most of them have been featured in popular PC and Console FPS Games. As I mentioned before the music is really invigorating and it really sets the mood for the game.
Overall Gun Battle is a really simple concept and the game play is interesting. I wish they added achievements and more information about the ranking system. Nonetheless I suggest trying the lite version (link) before you buy it but the full version is only $.99 (link).
