Today I decided to review something different. So we will take a look at the recently released task management app, Stuff (to do).
When I bought my iPhone, some of the first apps I purchased were task managers. I deleted most of them because they were either to simple or to cluttered.
Today’s app is something between in my opinion. It may be simple but gets the job done..
When you first open it you find yourself on the main screen where you can select , Tasks to view your tasks/todos, Tags to view your tags and Archive to see completed tasks. The Exclamation Mark shows info about the developer and the program. A very good tutorial is also included and can be viewed if you tap on the Question Mark.
To add a task you simply have to go to Tasks and press Plus(+) sign on the bottom bar. To set the task’s title, tap on empty space under Task, enter the title and you’re done!
Tap under Due and set the due date and time. The app will show a badge on it’s icon if you have something to do and if you want to be alarmed just enable the Alarm switch.
Next you can set a tag for your task if you want. It is good to add tags so you can tell in a glance whom or what it’s about. Also, by choosing Notes you can add notes to your task for more information.
When you’re finished you will have something like this:
By tapping the Envelope on the bottom, you can email the task and if you want to text message it,tap the Bubble.
You can mark the task as Done by tapping the Tick icon. To delete it,tap on the Recycle bin..
Overall, it is a very good task manager with a lot of potential. Simple but functional. With a few taps you can add tasks! The only thing that it’s missing from it is a badge for overdue tasks because it only shows today’s tasks. But the developer said to me that he will include overdue badge in the next update, due very soon.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.2 or later.
