Snappy is a new iPhone app available in Cydia for $1.99. Snappy lets you take photos even from within any open iPhone app. It even opens from the lock screen instantly.
To activate the Camera app from any screen, all you have to do is to tap and hold the top status bar where the AT&T carrier (or any other) logo to launch Camera and you are ready to instantly start taking pictures.
It beats the traditional way of closing an app and opening an app which probably takes precious 5-6 seconds when you might lose a photo opportunity.
