Have you ever tried reading anything on your iPhone while laying down on the couch or bed? Using Safari while I am laying down drives me nuts as the orientation keeps rotating when I turn to my sides.
Some thoughtful developers let you lock orientation for their apps via app settings. But, I want to turn on and off locking orientation iPhone wide when I am laying down.
Argghhhh.
Not anymore for jailbreakers. If you have a jailbroken iPhone, iNoRotate is a must-have free app that lets you control the auto-rotate for all or certain applications.

iNoRotate is one of those features you wish iPhone OS had natively but thanks to the jailbreak community you can have it now before Apple decides to.
Just look for iNoRotate in Cydia.
