Verizon iPhone Gets TeleNav GPS At a Lower Price

If you have heard or used AT&T Navigator GPS iPhone app, then you probably know that the company TeleNav builds and powers it.

TeleNav has just announced a Verizon iPhone version of their TeleNav GPS. The app is not available in the App Store yet but will soon be there after the Verizon iPhone 4 launch.

Most important part of this announcement is that this app is going to cost much less than AT&T.

The app is going to be free to download on both AT&T and Verizon and you get a free subscription for 30 days. AT&T charges $9.99 a month or $69.99/year for further use.

TeleNav’s Verizon version, however, is set to cost only $2.99/month or $29.99/year. That is a huge difference!

Another kicker is you can just use the GPS map and search capabilities for free without subscribing to the service with Verizon!

I believe we are set to see a similar price drop with AT&T Navigator app. Wouldn’t you think so?

You can sign up here if you would like to know when the app is available.
